I very have purposefully posted pictures that don’t highlight the actual ‘clothes’ at the most recent Chanel show. Why would I need to when I found these ones?
The little boy holding hands?
The amazing orchestra playing in front of the architectural design featuring the Chanel logo?
Love that green shade. I bought some cushions from Country Road today that are green. Seriously having a ‘green’ moment in life right now… sorry I’m sidetracking.
Seriously have to hand it to good old Karl. He doesn’t put on a show - he gives you an experience.
If I saw a Chanel show tomorrow, and died the next - I would be one very happy camper. Okay, maybe going a bit far, but you know what I mean.

Photo’s from The Sartorialist.
I was recently invited by Blue Illusion at Pacific Fair to watch an adorable, petite, French lady sit atop a ladder and paint their shop window. Her name is Nathalie Lété, and she is a Parisian artist renowned for her whimsical and enchanting illustrations. On a recent trip to France, owners of Blue Illusion, Donna and Danny came across Nathalie in Paris and immediately fell in love with her captivating designs and asked her to come to Australia.Whilst here, Nathalie has painted selected stores in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast. She has also collaborated on apparel, homewares and accessories for Blue Illusion’s Summer 2010 collection. Read the rest here… If you missed the video, view here…
You would need a hell-of-a-lota magic tape for this one. But I guess she doesn’t need to worry, if you catch my drift.

Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection was interesting this year (I totally just said that as if I am a routine fashion week attendee huh? pfft I wish)…
Why was it interesting? Well they featured a 5-month pregnant Miranda Kerr on their runway. Dressed in men style loafers (I’m guessing they weren’t prepared to send her down in stilettos and be called ‘irresponsible’ by the media now were they?) and a shift dress with an oversized houndstooth print, she looked pretty damn amazing.
The makeup is beautiful. So fresh. And I’m guessing every single female in the world is thinking, “Geez louise, I wish I looked/hope I look half as good as her when I was/I’m pregnant”.

Oh why thanks. You totally just made my day… x

Aside from being incredibly cute and one of those french women who make me want to start riding a bicycle everywhere, order baguettes, and tie a scarf around my neck, she is an amazing artist. Watch the video above for a sneak peek or simply go to the store. It’s worth a look.
Carey Mulligan - Interview Magazine
Seriously amazing images hey? I stole them from Interview Magazine. Went and saw Wall Street, Money Never Sleeps last night and Carey and Shia were awesome in it. They also happen to be a real life couple - super cute. Anyway, Interview always do the most amazing portraits, so I thought I would share these with you.
On another note: she seriously makes me want to chop my hair off.
Check out this chiks hair. I’m in love. Why is it that even on my best hair days I can never get any kind of braid, plait, twist, or turn to look as amazing as these women who magically appear at events with immaculately disheveled hair? They claim to have no ‘team’ behind them, preening every detail of their ‘look’. Liars.

“The Beautiful People”
Fashion Week’s sexiest women captured by Gordon Von Steiner at GQ. These women make me want to rush out, have my hair done, and paint my nails red. I love to hate them.
NYC, September 2010
How beautiful…. If only I wasn’t allergic to tutu’s…

So I have been browsing Scott Schuman’s blog (The Sartorialist…) for London fashion week pics and I couldn’t go past these three images without sharing them.
The first image is from Paul Smith, the second (my absolute favourite!) is from Jonathan Saunders collection. And the last is from the Marc Jacobs show. Honestly how could you go past Jacobs? Before I die, I will attend one of his shows. It’s on my bucket list.
I want to rip every outfit off these models and wear them all simultaneously. Wait, that doesn’t even make sense, that would look terrible. But you know what I mean.

Now wipe the drool off your keyboard. Thanks - thats gross. But I don’t blame you.
